The Stay at Home Club

In Times of the Covid-19, in more and more places it's advised to cut down on socializing and gathering in RL.

This makes Second Life® the choosen online platform for many to meet friends and have fun or just start spring cleaning your place and avatar by outfitting it with new goodies.

To make this even e a bit more attractive a small group of content creators formed the "Stay at Home Club"

The Stay at Home Club is gathering a collection of creators wishing to provide gifts for everyone to enjoy during these more difficult times in real life.

Very fast a growing list of well known shops joined this great idea, like:

• Psycho Barbie
• Normandy
• Seka
• Jinx
• Scarlet Fey
• Trompe Loeil

and after that the list had been growing continuously to around 1000 Content Creators and Teams helping to maintain positive vibes in these difficult times.

As of September 25th 2020 the Stay at Home Club was closed after a wild ride, during which the team had to deal with the full scope of Second Life® ranging from the incredible generosity of the SL Design Community and the many kind words and responses from the residents, but unfortunately also had to deal with the oddities of the crowd, ranging from abuse to hate speech, fortunately only by a minority.

We love to say thank you to Alex, Freya and Zac, the founders of the Stay at Home Club for their courage and efforts to start it and do the heavy lifting to maintain this project for 6 month on their personal time and money.
