Out Shop Cancer - October / November 2024

The 7th annual Out Shop Cancer event runs from October 1st to October 31st, 2024, in support of breast cancer research and awareness.

Out Shop Cancer is special because it brings together the Second Life community in a creative, meaningful way to support the fight against breast cancer.

What began in 2018 as a small shopping event has grown into a month-long celebration with main store and marketplace shopping, a grid-wide hunt, an art walk, decorating contests, live entertainment, and themed activities.

Every linden raised goes directly to the American Cancer Society’s Making Strides Against Breast Cancer program, funding research, patient services, and awareness. It’s more than shopping—it’s a chance to unite, honor survivors, remember loved ones, and fight back with hope and creativity.
